Angie Moates, M.A., LMHC
Angie Moates, M.A., LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with the state
of Florida. Angie received her master's degree in mental health counseling
from the University of Central Florida and has been working and volunteering
in the field of mental health since 1994. She has volunteered as a crisis
intervention counselor for domestic violence at Harbour House, as well as
for the local suicide hotline, We Care. In addition to her private
practice, she has worked for Florida Hospital Center for Behavioral Health
as an assessment specialist, and currently works as a psychotherapist for
the Sexual Trauma Recovery Center at Arnold Palmer Hospital. She has
extensive training in sand tray/play therapy and is also certified in
hypnotherapy. Through her private practice, Angie works with children,
adolescents and adults and specializes in depression, anxiety, abuse and
trauma, grief and loss, as well as life transition stages.
