Lori Lauridsen, M.A., LMHC


Lori Lauridsen, M.A., LMHC, graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Masters in Clinical Psychology and received her certification in hypnosis in 2005. Lori began her career in the psychology field as a Behavior Training Specialist for Autistic Adults in 2003 and has provided counseling on both an oupatient and residential basis ever since. Lori currently holds a position as a Substance Abuse Counselor at (SCCD)Crossroads residential treatment facility in Sanford, FL. She has experience in creating and facilitating therapy groups including self-esteem, addiction, multi-family and cognitive-behavioral therapy groups. Lori works with individuals, couples, children, and families on a variety of concerns including but not limited to anxiety and relaxation, depression, grief, mood disturances, adjustment disorders, life transitions with a special emphasis on addiction, co-occuring disorders and couples issues. In addition, Lori is currently working on receiving her CAP, Certified Addictions Professional.
